Commercial Licensing Questions
How does this relate to the open-source R package?
The EventStudy R package is open source under the AGPL-3 license and free for academic research, teaching, and commercial analysis. A commercial license is only required when you want to embed the engine in a closed-source or proprietary product, where AGPL-3 copyleft terms would otherwise apply.
What exactly is licensed?
The commercial offering licenses the proprietary Rust/WebAssembly event study engine for embedding. You receive the compiled engine and integration support — not a public source release.
How is pricing determined?
